How we use and share it
We use this information to operate accounts, review businesses and listings, deliver enquiries, support buyer–dealer follow-up, respond to requests and prevent abuse. An enquiry is shared with the business responsible for that car and the marketplace owner. Contact details are not displayed in the public catalogue.
Public listings display the dealer’s business name, business contact information, location, vehicle details and uploaded car photographs. Business verification documents and car registration numbers are accessible only to the responsible dealer and the marketplace owner. We use the private car registration number to prevent duplicate listings; it is excluded from buyer listings and share text. Uploaded photographs are public when a car is listed, so dealers must cover visible number plates and personal details before uploading them.
Support and privacy requests go to the marketplace owner, not to every dealer. A dealer may separately retain information you give them or records from a sale; you can ask that dealer about their handling of it.
Optional activity and interest ratings
With your permission, this browser can record return visits to a car, active time, different photos opened, saves and WhatsApp sharing opened. A separate, unchecked choice on the enquiry form lets you attach this car’s activity to that enquiry, including later visits while your activity permission remains active.
The dealer can then see a summary to help prioritise follow-up. The estimate may be Hot, Warm or Cold, and a dealer may adjust it. Refusing optional tracking does not subtract points. Anonymous browsing alone does not create a buyer enquiry. Dealer tools and signed-in dealer or administrator accounts are excluded from buyer activity measurement.
We record that WhatsApp sharing was opened; we cannot confirm a message was sent, delivered or read.
Cookies, storage and service providers
An optional first-party activity cookie lasts up to 30 days. It contains a random identifier; our activity records store a hashed version. Turning activity off deletes those activity records and removes their links to enquiries. Expired activity is excluded immediately and cleaned up on later activity or consent requests.
Cars saved to a phone account are stored privately with that account. A save does not automatically share your number with a dealer or create an enquiry. Earlier device-only favourites may remain in that browser. Your optional-activity choice is remembered on your device. You can remove an account favourite from Saved cars. A secure sign-in cookie lasts up to 30 days; signing out ends that browser’s session. An OTP sign-in attempt expires after 10 minutes. Sign-in and hosting services also process information needed to deliver the website and secure accounts. Our application does not add third-party advertising trackers or fingerprint your device.
Our hosting and earlier owner sign-in providers include Cloudflare and OpenAI. When phone verification and automatic WhatsApp alerts are enabled, Twilio processes the phone numbers and message details needed to deliver them. Test-drive alerts contain the buyer’s shared name and number, the car and preferred viewing time. Dealers choose whether to receive these alerts on their verified WhatsApp number. Request information, such as an IP address, may be processed for delivery, security and rate limiting. External services you choose to open, including WhatsApp and maps, have their own privacy practices.
Location and nearby cars
You can choose a state and city. Where available, the network may provide an approximate city to suggest local stock. Using your device location needs your browser’s permission. We round buyer coordinates to an approximate area for search and remember your location choice in a browser preference. Search distances are approximate straight-line distances to the car’s supplied map location, not driving distances. Your search coordinates are not included in dealer enquiries.
A car’s current location is separate from its registration state. Listings without a confirmed map pin cannot be given an accurate distance and appear after mapped stock when sorting by distance.
Retention and your requests
Closing an enquiry does not automatically erase its contact details. Dealer, enquiry and support records remain in the service until reviewed for removal. Ask us to access, correct or delete your information, withdraw enquiry contact consent, or raise a privacy concern using the privacy request form. Include the enquiry reference if you have it.
We may ask for enough information to verify that the record is yours before changing or disclosing it. We will explain if a record needs to be retained for an unresolved complaint or a legal obligation. Turning off optional activity does not delete the enquiry you deliberately sent or copies already held by a dealer.
The website is intended for adults. Do not submit a child’s contact details or upload identity documents unrelated to a business verification request.
