The service
Carkot provides vehicle listings, business review and enquiry tools. Independent dealers are responsible for their cars and sales. A listing, saved car, enquiry or test-drive request is not a completed purchase, reservation or confirmed appointment.
Use the service as an adult and provide accurate information. Do not impersonate a person or business, submit spam, access someone else’s account, upload content without permission or misuse contact details.
Before buying
Prices, kilometres, ownership, service history and condition are supplied by the dealer. Confirm current availability, the full payable price and any additional charges directly with the seller. Inspect the car and supporting records before making a commitment.
A business badge is not a vehicle warranty, valuation or government certification. A requested viewing must be confirmed by the dealer. See our buying guide for questions to ask.
Dealer responsibilities
Dealers must have authority to list a car and permission to use all uploaded photographs and information. Keep the asking price, status and disclosures accurate; promptly mark reserved or sold stock. Do not hide known faults, alter odometer claims or use misleading stock photographs.
You retain your rights to your content and permit Carkot to store and display it to operate and promote the relevant listing. Business evidence can be reviewed for approval. Applications may be approved, returned for correction or rejected. Approved businesses may be suspended, and individual listings may be taken offline, when evidence or conduct needs attention. Decisions are recorded with a reason.
Use enquiry contact details only to respond appropriately to that enquiry and respect requests to stop contact. Read the dealer standards.
Payments, cancellations and refunds
The current website does not collect car payments, booking deposits or finance applications. Agree any payment, cancellation, warranty and refund conditions directly with the dealer and obtain them in writing before paying.
The current starter account allows up to five live or reserved listings per dealer. Any future paid service or sponsored arrangement must have its price, duration and cancellation terms agreed before payment; there is no automatic paid subscription or advertising checkout on this website.
Suggestions, promotions and availability
Suggested cars are selected from available stock using attributes such as asking price, city and make. They are not personal financial or vehicle-condition advice. Promotional placements are labelled Sponsored and explained in our sponsored listings policy.
We may correct, restrict or remove misleading listings and investigate reported misuse. Website access can be interrupted for maintenance or technical issues. Report problems through Contact & support.
Your rights
These terms do not exclude rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law. Information on this website does not replace the written agreement between a buyer and seller. For a question about this service or a complaint, contact the marketplace through the support page.
